I am Liyuan Pan, a Research Professor and PhD Supervisor at the School of Computer Science, Beijing Institute of Technology, as well as a recipient of the National Young Talents Program.
I got my PhD degree from the Australian National University in 2021, supervised by Dr. Richard Hartley, Miaomiao Liu, Yuchao Dai and Hongdong Li. From 2021 to 2022, I worked as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Australian National University under the supervision of Dr. Eric Stone. I joined the School of Computer Science, Beijing Institute of Technology, in June 2022.
I have published more than 30 first-author or corresponding-author papers in top-tier international conferences and journals on computer vision and machine learning, including ICCV, CVPR, TPAMI and NeurIPS. I ranked 3rd worldwide in the Google Landmark Retrieval Challenge and received the Outstanding Reviewer Award at ICCV 2021. My primary research interests cover event cameras, dual-pixel sensors, scene understanding, low-level vision, VLM, and biomedical image processing.
潘利源,博士,北京理工大学计算机学院特别研究员,博士生导师,国家级青年人才。 2021年于澳大利亚国立大学获得哲学博士学位,导师为Dr. Richard Hartley, Miaomiao Liu, Yuchao Dai 和 Hongdong Li。 2021年至2022于澳大利亚国立大学从事博士后研究,导师为Dr. Eric Stone。 2022年6月加入北京理工大学计算机学院。 2022年入选北京市青年人才托举工程。 2023年负责国家自然科学青年基金。 在计算机视觉与机器学习顶级国际会议/期刊ICCV, CVPR, TPAMI, NeurIPS等发表多篇论文,获Google地标检索挑战赛全球第3名,ICCV 2021最佳审稿人。 主要从事视觉和语言、场景理解、生物医学图像处理和新型传感器方向的研究。
